Current Work
These sites are either new to Windy Hill or have major work in progress.
American Beauty Tools is a soldering tool company that utilizes videos and product descriptions as well as a quote cart to sell their products and expand their business. This site is built on a custom CMS (content management system) called Webeaze (designed by Windy Hill). This site features the most expanded set of functionality provided by Windy Hill including integrated Google products, a video library, and user to business interaction features.
This website was built for a small church. It is built on a Wordpress backend and includes some miscellaneous enhancements including a sermon browser, events manager, and access for various groups to create their own content.
This is a community event that had their first annual festival in 2009. They have requested assistance in building a website to promote the festival for future events and to make the process of gathering payments and vendor's information more "green" by collecting it electronically. This site is for a non-profit organization and is being provided by Windy Hill as a service to the community.
To date, I have only performed work on the forums portion of this website (http://www.uamcc.org/forum). This includes customization of the vBulletin installation to supply ads to the end users. The main site is built on Joomla and will require work to incorporate those ads and other potential modifications in the future. Discussions are ongoing and based on the owner's timelines.
Previous Work
This is several of the websites I have built or maintained or been involved with in some manner over the past several years. This is not all inclusive of the work I have done and it should be noted that most if not all of the designs are client-directed.
This is a front page to a web store. This site was designed and built by Windy Hill and is managed through a custom CMS (Webeaze). The store for this site is provided by a drop-ship vendor and therefore I only built a nice front-end jumping point to the store. This site includes a custom ad rotator and several other custom features.
My work on this site is limited to the product display. The owner of the site can modify a template that I built to create product listings and they can be displayed in a variety of formats and even supply the user with local currency conversions.
This site required some basic styling work on a vBulletin forum. This included some image manipulation and configuration of ad modules in the admin control panel.
This is a power-washers community that has many customizations built into an SMF (www.simplemachines.org) forum as well as a contractor directory and birthday club which both authenticate to the SMF forum. The users also interact with the community via post competitions, a custom chatbox, and they can even get their local weather. This community is built around the strong presence of the owner's store (http://www.pressurektek.com)
My work on this site has been focused on the information that the paid customer has access to. This includes historical data about sales figures. I have had no control over the design or presentation of this website to the normal users.
